ESTIA :
ECOLE SUPÉRIEURE DES TECHNOLOGIES INDUSTRIELLES AVANCÉES (ESTIA) is an engineering school created in 1996 and based in the Southwest of France (Bidart). ESTIA trains about 1.000 students a year, from Bachelor to the master’s degree in electronics, mechanics, informatics. In terms of skills, of particular importance are languages, entrepreneurship and complex problem-solving in ESTIA’s curriculum. The pedagogy used is as much as possible based on active learning. In 2020, it has been classified 19th best engineering school in France.
ESTIA has international academic partnerships all over the world. ESATIC:

The African School of Information and Communication Technologies (ESATIC) is a public institution located in Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire), created on January 18, 2012 under the supervision of the Ministry in charge of the Digital Economy.

ESATIC, which delivers Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate degrees,  has the following missions:

  • Train technicians and managers specialized in the ICT sector: Telecommunications, IT, Industry 4/5.0, Management and Regulation of the Digital Economy, etc. ;
  • Conduct all research, development and innovation in the ICT sector;
  • Establish a framework for national and international cooperation in the field of ICT training/research, in order to guarantee its influence in Africa.

INPHB :

The Houphouët Boigny National Polytechnic Institute (INP-HB) in Yamoussoukro (Côte d’Ivoire) is a unique institution in the West African sub-region under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Created on September 4, 1996, Thanks to its know-how and expertise, the INP-HB’s mission is to train Managers, Engineers and Senior Technicians in the fields of Commerce, Public Works, Administration, Civil Engineering, Agronomy, Industry, Mining and Geology.

The INP-HB affirms its citizen presence through capacity building, innovation, development and technology transfer actions in order to improve the living and working conditions of the population and facilitate the professional integration of young people.

The INP-HB has 11 schools, about 700 permanent teacher-researchers, more than 6230 Auditors, 02 Doctoral Schools, 04 Joint Research and Innovation Units (UMRI), more than 50 active partners around the world, 1000 Ha of total area including 400 Ha developed, 32 University Residences,  05 Erasmus projects, several prizes and distinctions.

 

ESIH:

ESIH is a Haitian higher education institution founded in 1995 by a group of young graduates from engineering schools or scientific faculties, all concerned with training qualified young people to meet the needs and challenges of national or regional companies, institutions and other economic actors, in accordance with the standards of higher education at the international level.

ESIH is an active member of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), the Conference of Rectors, Presidents of Universities and Heads of Haitian Higher Education Institutions (CORPUHA), the Conference of Rectors, Presidents of Universities and Heads of Higher Education Institutions of the Caribbean (CORPUCA), the International University Agency (AIU) and the Haitian Association for the Development of ICT (AHTIC).

Since February 2022, ESIH has been hosting the Francophone Digital Campus (CNF) and the country’s first Francophone Employability Center (CEF), in collaboration with the AUF, the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH), FOKAL and the Swiss Embassy.

 The CNF allows étudiant.es with a bachelor’s degree to prepare Master’s degrees from French universities entirely online.

Over the years, ESIH has built up a solid network of partnerships and has been associated with initiatives that allow its students to prepare for the rigours of the job market and their civic life by providing them with complementary elements to their academic training.

The University of Siena dates back to 1240. Today, over 18.000 students attend UNISI enrolled in a broad range of degree courses, including Bachelor courses (3 years), Master courses (2 years) and Long Cycle degree Courses. Moreover, three-year Doctoral programs are offered, together with a number of shorter post-graduate programs. In 2018, UNISI ranked first among the medium-sized Italian Universities for study grants and services for students according to the CENSIS Research Institute classification 2018. The Times Higher Education World University Rankings considered UNISI in a position between 401 and 500. These figures report the effects of a strategy of internationalization enhanced over the years. UNISI aims to be not only a Europe-leading teaching and research institution, but a truly global university able to welcome a growing number of international students. UNISI currently recruits around 10% of students from abroad, and the recent establishment of several teaching programs entirely offered in English will help to increase this trend. YASARU:

ITU:

ITU positions itself as HEI which will train people in the AI / IT part of the project. ITU is involved in computer science, IT, BI, Database. ITU is a partner of some local and global big companies: Oracle Academy, Microsoft Imagine Academy, Université Côte d’Azur, ESTIA, Société Générale Madagascar, TELMA, BICI.
ITU was created in 2011 to contribute to training youngsters in IT to respond to the high needs and demands, of the economic sector of Madagascar and the Southern Indian Ocean Sub-Region, in qualified professionals. ITU is specialized in Computer Science and in 2022, we have 1.200 students, including 120 at Master level, which qualifies us as one of the top schools in our sector inn Madagascar. At Bachelor level, our students are oriented toward mobile, Web and general software development, or network and database management. Our students have a recruitment rate of 100% right after graduation thanks to our partnership with Telma/Axian (Telco, energy, banking, real estate), Société Générale MG (banking), Basan (agriculture, food, leather), FTHM (international consulting), etc, just to name a few.

UNIVA:

Université d’Antananarivo (UNIVA) succeeded in 1988 to the Université de Madagascar founded in 1961. It has 23.000 students: as such it is the largest University in Madagascar which has 5 other public Universities in the other 5 main cities. UNIVA has teaching and research departments in Law, Economy, Management and sociology, Literature, and Human Science, Science, Health, Teacher Training, Agronomy and Engineering. All of those Faculties train at Bachelor, Master and Doctoral levels.

FAMV:

The Faculty of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine (FAMV) is a public higher education institution that is part of the State University of Haiti (UEH). It is responsible for executive training, agricultural research and community services, particularly in the field of agricultural sciences and related activities. It provides quality training to young people, who, after three years of core curriculum, can orient themselves according to their particular interest towards the management of Natural Resources and the Environment, Animal Production, Plant Sciences, Economy and Rural Development, Rural Engineering, Food Science and Technology.

AFRIA:

l’Agence francophone de l’intelligence artificielle (AFRIA) It is a French association under the 1901 law which brings together actors from the private and public sectors and NGOs. It has been legally established as a public utility foundation in Geneva since 2020. Its president is Eric Adja. Its mission, according to its president, is to support the countries of the world which share the French language and more particularly the countries of French-speaking Africa in the controlled integration of artificial intelligence and technologies related to digital so that they serve the integral and sustainable development of people and the environment.
