Deep Farm Project: ESTIA Opens Its Doors to 14 Future Innovators!

Since October, ESTIA has been hosting 14 students specializing in computer science and agricultural engineering as part of the Erasmus+ project: DEEP FARM. This program focuses on combining digital innovation with sustainable practices to improve agriculture in developing countries and support green transformation.
Digital agriculture has the power to increase productivity, improve profitability, and make farming more resilient to climate challenges. The DEEP FARM project brings together 12 global partners, including universities from Europe and other regions, to address skill gaps in modern agriculture. By training students in AI, IoT, and Big Data, the program uses hands-on learning to prepare them to create positive change in their communities.
This initiative also reflects ESTIA’s commitment to sustainability through its Durable Development and Social Responsibility (DD-SR) Label, further showcasing its role as a leader in advancing green transformation in the Basque Country.
