The Deep Farm Student Mobility Closing Event

On February 20, 2025, we marked a remarkable milestone with the Deep Farm Student Mobility Closing Event at ESTIA! This celebration was the culmination of months of hard work, dedication, and transformative learning as our students completed the Erasmus+ Student Mobility Program.

Throughout this journey, our students faced real-world challenges in sustainable agriculture, explored digital farming solutions, and collaborated across borders to innovate in smart farming. Their experiences have not only equipped them with valuable skills but also positioned them as pioneers in the future of agriculture.

The Closing Event was filled with inspiring moments and valuable insights:

✅“Beyond DEEP FARM” Presentation by Serge Miranda: A powerful talk that encouraged students to envision the future of agriculture beyond their training.
✅ Showcase of DEEP Farm Use Cases: From AI-powered cacao disease detection to sustainable solutions for olive, rice, mango, and banana farming, our students presented innovative projects that demonstrate the power of digital agriculture.
✅ Introduction of the Irouleguy Use Case (France): Highlighting local agricultural practices and their integration with digital technologies.
✅ Discussion Session with Online Partners: A collaborative conversation on how students can continue contributing to the DEEP Farm project, even after returning home.

Overcoming Challenges Together 🎤

This achievement did not come easily. Our students and team faced significant challenges, particularly with visa issues and logistical complexities. At times, it seemed uncertain whether we would reach this moment. However, through unwavering perseverance and the strong support of our partners, we made it happen!
